Terms of Service

These terms cover the pet-waste removal service Doo Diligence sells here. Signing up means you accept them. If anything below does not match what you were told, email service@getdoodiligence.com before your first visit.
Who you are dealing with
Doo Diligence, a residential pet-waste removal service. Reach us at service@getdoodiligence.com.
What we do
We come to your address on a schedule, clear the pet waste from the yard, bag it and put the bag in your own bin. We do not carry it off-site. Plans run weekly or every two weeks. Most signups also buy a one-time initial cleanup, which is the first visit we make.
Where we work
ZIP codes 94518, 94523, and 94597. We cannot put an address outside those on a route, so we do not sell a plan for one.
Your service day
You pick a preferred weekday when you sign up. We run weekdays only. A visit can move — weather, a truck out of action, a holiday — and we email you when one does. A move changes the date; it does not remove a visit from your plan.
Getting into the yard
We have to reach the yard on your day. Leave the gate unlocked or give us the code, and tell us anything that would stop us: a latch that sticks, a side door that is locked, a dog that should not meet a stranger. Keep any dog that bites indoors while we are there.
When a visit does not happen
If we cannot get in, we record the trip and tell you what we found. Your price does not change. You pay a flat monthly price for the plan, not a price per visit, so a locked gate is neither charged extra nor credited back. The same holds when you skip a visit yourself from your account.
What you pay
One flat monthly price, set by how often we come and how many dogs you have, plus the one-time initial cleanup charged when you enter your card. The monthly charge starts on your first recurring service date and repeats every month until you pause or cancel.
Stripe takes the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
If our prices change
Your price is fixed on the day you sign up. When we change our published prices that applies to new plans. Yours stays where it is unless we write to you first.
Pausing
Pause from your account whenever you like, with or without a restart date. A pause stops the visits and stops the charges. Start it back up yourself when you want us again.
Cancelling
Email service@getdoodiligence.com and we will cancel the plan. Service and billing run to the end of the month you have already paid for, then stop. We do not refund part of a month. The initial cleanup fee is not refundable once that visit has happened.
If a payment fails
Stripe retries a failed card for a few days. If it never clears we put the plan on hold and the visits stop. Update your card and service picks up again.
Text messages
If you agreed to service texts at signup, we use your mobile number only to tell you about your own scheduled visits — reminders, arrivals and completions. We never sell it and never text you marketing. Message frequency varies with your service plan. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or HELP for help.
Agreeing is optional. You can buy and keep a plan without giving us a mobile number at all.
We email you about your own service: a welcome, visit reminders, a note when a visit moves or is finished, and billing notices. That is part of the service, not marketing. Ask us and we will turn the reminders off.
Care on your property
We take reasonable care in your yard. We are not responsible for damage that was there before we arrived, or for what a loose dog does while we are working. Tell us about a hazard and we will work around it.
Changes to these terms
We update this page when the service changes, and the date at the top tells you when. Keep using the service and you accept the version on this page.
Which law applies
We will name the state whose law governs these terms, and the courts that hear any dispute, once we have registered the company. Until then neither is settled, and nothing here asks you to agree in advance to a court in a particular place.
